Bite Your Nails, by fraser stewart
This work was made for the exhibition "Flowers for Algernon" in De Zwarte Ruyter, Rotterdam. The Exhibition was curated by Irma Oldenburg and Sarah Ludemann and brought together eight artists working in different mediums. The idea behind the exhibition was read the book "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes and to make a work inspired by it.
I was interested in the themes of memory loss in the book and so made, "He's been there for ages and "Bite Your Nails".
