The Opening, by fraser stewart and Danny McGuinness
The images you see were taken after a one-hour collaborative performance entitled "PAINTBRUSHHEADMAN". Danny McGuinness who studied along side me conceived the idea for this work. We had been experimenting at various points with collaborating together. He wanted me to play the part of a paintbrush and he would be the painter.
What followed was a one-hour blind battle as we tortured each other and spoke like lost children. We exhibited the film along side the left over painting and props.
